We all knew Virgin released most of their back catalogue in a low-budget re-issue known as the OVED collection, as OVED was the new initials for the catalogue numbers instead of V.
According to Dark Star's website:
The only other developments of this year (1988) were Virgin budget re-issues of The Killing Fields (OVED183), Ommadawn (OVED208) and The Orchestral Tubular Bells (OVED97). There were also airings for Mike's collaborations with David Bedford on Rime of the Ancient Mariner (OVED152), The Odyssey (OVED153) and Pekka Pohjola on Mathematicians Air Display (OVED201. All the OVED re-issues were released on LP whilst code OVEC was used on the cassette versions.
These means that we finally know the exact date for those releases!
Finally, a reliable source of information. :)
I'll try to mend all the mistaken dates at MOWD, so please, keep in mind this information for future items.

¡Lo que significa que por fin tenemos información exacta de la fecha de publicación de esos discos!
Por fin una fuente de información fidedigna. :)
Intentaré corregir las entradas del MOWD incorrectas. Tened en cuenta esta información para futuros nuevos items.
