yes i ordered copy directly from zdf.de which was 40 euros including shipping. not bad deal since its better quality than offical montreux dvd.

Samuli, I have just received an email from them. They told me that there are two DVDs about Mike. One is "25.05.1993, In Concert - Mike Oldfield, 47,25 min, 40,00 EUR" and the second "03.01.1981, Rockpop in concert, 225,12 min, 55,00 EUR"
Have you bought the second?

no i havent....what the hell is that 3.1.1981? i dont think there is that long MO concerts so i assume it could be where MO is part of show....that 1981 is date when thing was aired since it tells 93 for dortmund so i have no idea what it could be....maybe montreux 81?

i found out that 225min thing has same dortmund show as the separated one but looks like its longer....most interesting thing would be that it looks that it has taurus 1 on it what is missing from newer broadcast...

I think that Rockpop 1981 is the whole concert with all the bands (Dire Straits, Talking Heads and Mike Oldfield) and this date is not that of the concert but that of the ZDF transmission. And I think that 1993 is the date when it was aired again, but only the parts with Mike Oldfield.

Earlier version has taurus 1 so i suggest you would get it instead...ive seen vhs copy exist from it that was recorded from italian tv.

I assume it comes in 2 dvd since price is higher but if it comes in 1dvd only, i could share this better bitrate version.

It comes with default dvd recorded menu (sony recorder been used) so someone could start to work nice menus for it?
