MIKE OLDFIELD SIGNS WITH MERCURY RECORDS Los Registros del mercurio, la parte del Grupo Universal de la Música, está orgulloso anunciar que ese Mike Oldfield ha firmado un trata con la etiqueta. Las primeras fruta de este trato nuevo verán la liberación de un completamente nuevo álbum doble todavía sin título de Mike Oldfield en septiembre, que es su primera colección de la música nueva desde que 2002 Tres Lunas. Al costado sus liberaciones nuevas, en 2008 todo catálogo de Mike de sus años en la Virgen, inclusive las Campanas, la Arista de Hergest y Ommadawn Tubulares clásico, transferirán a Registros de Mercurio. Mike Oldfield ha vendido 40 millones de álbumes desde que la liberación de su presentación las Campanas Tubulares en 1973. Mike comentó, "yo nunca me imaginé como que un adolescente firmó apenas mi primer contrato sin precedentes con el Richard Branson entonces desconocido, que 33 años luego yo estaría renunciando a una compañía mayor como Universal. Con todo que ha sucedido en esos años inclusive el desarrollo de la tecnología nueva fantástica que ha ayudado mí crea mi álbum nuevo, todo parece un deseo cumplido. Espero trabajar con todas las personas en Mercurio y yo creo que la próxima serie de álbumes será un gran éxito." Hello Crises, I have most of Mike's official material, so not so much money to save for me. Yes I have heard the new stuff, it is only early days yet and the snippets were grabbed from the net. At least we have a taster of what is to come. I feel maybe MO will introduce and remix leftovers from Tr3s Lunas II. But this is good news for people who have not heard TLII. If I had not found this website I would never have heard TLII. In England MO is not hugely popular so the call for his rare stuff is slim on the ground. Most people in the UK think MO only plays keyboards and has only made one album 'Tubular Bells'. If only they could open thier eyes a little, they would find MO is full of great surprises. I was living in England for a six months and nobody of the people I met in Carlisle knew Mike Oldfield. I,m not sure but if I remember well his last number 1 in UK was TB II. Amarok Daily - August 08 2005 According to the Amarok Daily, a Polish radio station has broadcasted 4 tracks of Mike Oldfield's new album. A possible title for this new album is 'Light and Shade'. The other one sounds like orabidoo..It´s very similar and al least, we have an emotional guitar . I wish that the way of the album was like this song but who knows...Anyway the quality of the tracks are very bad..We have to wait to listen to the songs as Mike Oldifield use to do... Hi WorldX I liked very much England. When I was abroad I was looking for a different way of life, I was working and living alone, a great experience...It´s was great...and very funny!! It was like a long holidays!! ...and I got a lot of vinyls of Magnum, REO, Boston, etc, etc, I came back to Spain with the bag plenty of music. And talking about the english music...I think that the music oriented to the charts is rather good..not like in Spain ..here this kind of music is a shit..:oops!! I am very glad you liked England. I spent 4 and half months in India and loved every minute of it. I listened to Incantations and TSODE a lot while I was there. I have also travelled to Sri Lanka and Egypt. I love travel very much and I guess I get a little bored of England at times because I live here and it is so small. I wish very much to travel to Spain next year and also Barcelona. Yeah, some music in Europe is a little strange and I suppose there are some good artists here. I am also a big fan of Pink Floyd and have everything they have done. I have been listening to Mike Oldfield for 25 years now since I first bought a copy of Tubular Bells at eight with my pocket money, from then on I was hooked. :) 9 Agosto 2005, 18:03:01 |
