WANTED : PEPSI DEAD OR ALIVE FOR CRIMES AGAINST OLDFIELD

If this topic has been raised already, I apologise, but I am really anti-Pepsi (not the drink, but the singer, if you can call her that). She was ok at the Royal Horse Guards Parade TBIII show, but ever since then I think it has all gone to her head.
 
Just listening to Vienna 99 - 19 - Family Man, I ask what is she doing? She really ruins the beginning by singing unaccompanied and out of tune.
 
She was bloody annoying at TMB Berlin 99/00 (Shadow On The Wall - chanting 'cmon' all the way through) and throughout nearly every Then & Now show I have heard. I can fart more in tune than she can sing!
 
I really think Mike made a big mistake keeping her on, considering the great female singers he has worked with in the past.
 
Sorry to moan and apologies to anyone who likes her (or would like to admit it!). Does anyone else agree with me or am I alone on this one?

that was in her biography, in the fan site. So she was stressed!!, is that the reason why she always looked so upset/bored/inpain during the tour?

But what about before the tour? she had exactly the same face? what really happenned to this woman? I mean, I love her voice, I think moonlight shadow or the whole discovery album wouldn´t be the same without her, but....her attitude on stage was so....negative? wasn´t it?

I did kind of notice a bit of negative attitude, does anyone know why she fell out with Mike?

I know that Mike in 1998 called her to sing "Man in the rain" but her managers didn't want.

going back to Pepsi, I do agree she is the worst MO´s singer ever, even her interpretation of moonlight s at tb3 presentation was horrible (she even got the lyrics wrong). I remember now Marlon Brando saying "horror" "horror" in Apocalypse Now, I think se was remembering that particular moment of the concert!!!

However, I think the problem isn't that Pepsi is a bad singer, I think that she is not singing songs good for her voice. Maybe she could success in another rock style.

I think she has a powerful and a great voice, in fact I like her voice.......but sometimes don´t sing very well with mike. My problem with pepsi is her attitude on scene, she tries to connect with the public but she makes many ridiculous movements when she´s on stage without singing.

Well´see if mike change of singer...

We have to wait to next tour to see the new faces, I heard about Carrie Melbourne isn't going to play with Mike.

I think Pepsi was ok when she was with Wham, jeje. She is very strange on stage, maybe trying a little to hard and failing. It is funny she even looked like Marlon Brando at the Berlin Concert XD.

But I think that how she moves on stage isn't the problem. I remember that Maggie Reilly was awful on stage, she didn't move!!!

I think that Pepsi don't work in the next tour of Mike. Maybe if Mike play some tracks of the Warner era, it will be possible the inclussion of Pepsi. But I think that Mike use his new Vocal Software.

But during the "THEN & NOW" tour, Pepsi sung better, I think that in the TB3 Premiere she didn't test so much for the hurries of the negatives to sung by Cara Dillon.

Pepsi es una buena cantante. But I prefer Coca Cola (Coke)

Mike is so funny in the Heaven's Open video, jeje. He doesn't have a bad voice though, at least he is in tune!
 
If anyone gets the chance, listen to Vienna 99 - 19 - Family Man, I honestly think this could possibly be the worst version of the song yet. It is almost unbearable, yet very, very amusing.
 
I think Pepsi would sound better if she were to sing with gaffa-tape across her mouth! Please, please Mike try someone else, anyone. Even my dog can bark better and is for hire at the right price!!

Pepsi was background voice of WHAM!, the George Michael's old group. So she can do good things, but then there is another question, if she sang on 80's how old is she? She looks young

After Hearing the girl singer on Tribute to Mike Oldfield singing "To France" I believe that Pepsi is a genius singing.Actually In mu opinion I dod not think Pepsi is a bad singer, however her movements in Concert and Videos can drive one crazy.

The truth be said That Maggie Reilly live really sucked , especially when she had trouble hearing the band.

MIRIAM STOCKLEY would be definitely the best.

Despues de escuchar La chica cantante en "To France" en Tribute to Mike Oldfield, creo que Pepsi es un genio cantante.. por mi opinion no creo que Pepsi es un mal cantante, aunque sus movimientos en los conciertos Y videos me vuelven loco.

Es verdad que Maggie Reilly en vivo no es muy bueno especialmente si tiene dificultades escuchar al grupo.

Cara Dillon is a great choice. Pepsi wasn't that bad in VH1 Uncut, but she really does have her moments in everything else. I think it would be good to have a whole new line up when Mike plays live again. Bring in some fresh new talent, just not the girl who sung 'To France' on 'A Tribute To MO'!

I think Anita Hegerland was a great female vocalist for Mike's music. As for a male voice, I think Mike and Fish (ex-Marillion) could have done some great things together.
